Nintendo of Canada Ltd. (NOCL) is looking for a new Advertising Coordinator (Limited Term) to join their Marketing team. The NOCL Marketing team is responsible for creating consumer demand in the Canadian market for Nintendo products and services. We do so by creating innovative marketing programs across a variety of marketing disciplines that create product awareness and brand engagement with consumers. 

As the Advertising Coordinator, you will support the efforts of Advertising, Paid Media, Web & CRM team members. You will ensure the movement of deliverables is executed timely and efficiently to fulfill a multitude of campaigns. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, self-driven, detail‑oriented, adaptable under pressure, and motivated by curiosity to find new ways forward. The candidate must also be ready to have fun and bring an immense number of smiles to consumers across Canada!

 

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Supports the execution of day-to-day activities associated with advertising creative, paid media fulfillment, and general administration support.
  • Works with various members of the team to provide support inclusive of garnering translation requirements in multiple languages, routing creative for legal review and with various stakeholders across the organization to gain necessary approvals.
  • Coordinates as needed requirements with agencies, internal creative teams and vendors to ensure timely and satisfactory delivery of work.
  • Acts as liaison between NOCL Advertising and other Nintendo departments as necessary to fulfill execution expectations.
  • Liaison with various Nintendo of America (NOA) cross functional marketing teams to garner knowledge and access to necessary content to bring forward into the Canadian market as well as to lead localization requirements.
  • Liaison with NOA advertising agencies in which to gain access to content and to manage usage rights within.
  • Ensures the quality of deliverables conforms to necessary standards including ESRB regulations, advertising regulations within Quebec, IP clearance etc.
  • Participates in ideation sessions and provides input to help evaluate and respond to analysis needs. 

 

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • College or University degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and related business experience preferred.
  • Minimum two years of related advertising and/or marketing experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage details, multiple projects, and remain highly organized.
  • Knowledge of Nintendo products/video game industry a plus but not required. 

*** This is a Limited Term contract position***

This position is hybrid in Burnaby, BC. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.

This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package, and paid time off.

Pay Range:

$26.83—$40.24/hr CAD
