DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Innovate and develop test automation frameworks, QA tools, and supporting systems to improve product quality and testing efficiency
- Design test strategies and test plans to ensure features and products are released with a consistently high quality bar
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage across key areas such as performance testing, compatibility testing, regression testing, functional testing, and other critical quality dimensions
- Work with productivity and development tools such as Jira, Git, and TeamCity
- Perform risk assessments to identify critical code paths and develop corresponding automated test cases
- Implement test automation using multiple programming languages
- Identify defects, document them clearly, and drive them through resolution and verification
- Track performance data over time
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
- Experience and/or strong knowledge of Quality Assurance, test methodologies, and testing strategies
- Strong knowledge of debugging, toolchains and CPU architecture. LLVM development experience is a plus.
- Strong programming skills, primarily in C/C++ with additional experience in Python , C#, and PowerShell
- Experience with source control tools such as Git or Perforce
- Experience working with system APIs, command line tooling, or platform level interfaces
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines; TeamCity and Buildbot are a plus
- Experience working and testing in cross-platform environments
- Ability to read and understand assembly languages
- Ability to review and provide feedback to peer code
- Strong communication skills for regular collaboration with the development team to drive testability
- Knowledge of Linux environments, system level concepts, and low level debugging is a plus
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.
This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
