Position Summary: This role is characterized by direct ownership of licensed assortment strategy and execution, including buying, PO tracking, and end-to-end merchandise pipeline management across brick and mortar and e-commerce channels. The role applies Point of Sale (POS) and consumer data to drive assortment, pricing, and product lifecycle decisions, with accountability for MSRP and margin targets, including DTC exclusive merchandise. It leads structured merchandising governance, collaborates with a defined set of cross-functional partners, and provides leadership across multiple teams.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Manages and guides a team in effective analysis leading to actionable insights to inform partners and grow the business.
  • Oversees product selection and ordering processes and gains alignment with peers on strategy and assortment.
  • Leads analysis and insights presentations to stakeholders to inform Roadmap and Collection decisions.
  • Accountable for Merchant price matrix development and competitive landscape analysis to set costing guidelines. 
  • Provide leadership input in annual and monthly plan/forecast business reviews.
  • Develops and manages direct reports and provides mentorship, guidance, career development and performance management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in developing product strategies and effective execution.
  • Develops and manages budgets.
  • Develops and prepares data for senior leadership.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

  • 8-10 years of related experience.
  • Solid and demonstrated experience in complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Experience in a technical environment helpful.
  • Knowledge of Nintendo products helpful.
  • PC word processing, database, spreadsheet skills (Word, Excel, and Photoshop preferred).
  • Undergraduate degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Analytics, a related field, or equivalent.
  • Formal training in marketing practices or equivalent preferred.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.

This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Pay Range:
$117,400$211,300 USD
