Team/Position Summary: The Internal Communications team at Nintendo of America (NOA) coordinates internal employee communications across a variety of areas with the goal of helping NOA teams communicate as effectively as possible throughout the organization.
The Internal Communications Manager will lead the execution of corporate communications activities, with a primary focus on internal communications, ensuring Nintendo of America’s (NOA’s) priorities, decisions, and initiatives are clearly shared with and understood by all employees, and aligned with broader corporate messaging.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Partners with executives and leaders to help shape communications strategies with primary focus on employee alignment with company priorities; plans and executes internal communications campaigns and events, and supports broader corporate communications efforts.
- Leads day-to-day execution of NOA's Internal Communications (IC) programs.
- Oversees core internal communications channels and services, including the company intranet and editorial oversights of the internal content, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide editorial standards.
- Write, edit, and script high quality communications content, including articles, executive messages, talking points, and short form videos; contribute writing and editing support to external messaging materials as needed.
- Plan and deliver internal communications initiatives in partnership with teams across NOA to support major business moments, organizational change, and leadership priorities, ensuring consistency with external narratives.
- Advise internal partners on messaging, content strategy, and tactics, including employee-facing resources tied to corporate initiatives and select external communications projects.
- Support internal communications and events related to corporate and product initiatives, with a focus on employee education and understanding, and provide surge support for external communications activities when needed.
- Author and manage internal messaging and related FAQs, contributing to enterprise Q&A development to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment of voice across audiences.
- Provide reporting, insights, and recommendations that keep executives informed and support internal communications effectiveness and broader Corporate Communications planning.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
- Five (5) or more years of experience leading internal communications initiatives and teams.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with experience scripting or shaping video and multimedia content for internal audiences.
- Experience planning and supporting internal events and communications campaigns across a variety of formats (e.g., all company meetings, leadership forums, employee programs).
- Undergraduate degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, a related field, or equivalent.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
